The plan was to use that direct mountain backdrop for the ceremony and portraits, but the weather had other ideas. Rain moved in that afternoon, and at one point there was lightning in the area, which meant the mountain was off the table for the day. The ceremony shifted indoors, and the day took on a softer, more intimate feel than originally planned.
